WHO IS BEHIND SPRINGFIELD BLACK TIE?

Springfield Black Tie is driven by a dedicated team of volunteers who generously give their time, talents, and expertise throughout the year to make our fundraising efforts possible. Together, we share a common goal: raising funds that strengthen and support the LGBTQ+ community across southwest Missouri.

Since our founding in 2003, Springfield Black Tie has served as a bridge between generous donors and the nonprofit organizations making a difference throughout our region. Through the incredible support of individuals, businesses, sponsors, and community partners, our fundraising efforts have generated more than $2.5 million in grants benefiting organizations that provide advocacy, healthcare, education, housing assistance, youth services, mental health support, and other essential programs for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.

Our volunteers contribute thousands of hours each year because we believe that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, it can create lasting change. Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, auction item donated, and contribution made helps ensure that critical resources remain available to the organizations serving our community.
